Design meets vintage.

Deus Cantina is more than a restaurant along the Herengracht - just across from the hotel. It's an all day hangout! With 750m2 you can work here, have a laidback brunch, lunch, drinks or a dinner for two to a whole group dinner. Deus is open from Thursday to Sunday, from 11 am till midnight.

You can start the morning with a no avocado on toast, a croque monsieur made with kimchi and sesame or one with smoked salmon and a poached egg. Accompanied by a prosecco mimosa or a virgin mary? Or go for a Deus burger "the beast", Deus sandwich "Carlitos" with pulled pork and chipotle mayo or one of the tasty salads.
If you come later on the day, you can build your own borrel. "Borrelen" means to have drinks and bites in Dutch. We have a word for it ;-) And in this case you can compile your own "borrel" with bread, olives, dips with whipped feta, smoked mackerel rilette, Dutch cheeses and warm snacks like bitterballen.
For dinner Deus offers a Road Trip Menu with tastes and flavours from all kinds of countries like France, Laos to Korea amongst others.

Fuel your fork! Or your stomach ;-)

The relaxed atmosphere, French cuisine with the best wine pairing and super nice and friendly service makes a magnificent evening! We are talking about local favourite Café De Klepel. We say café but it's a restaurant. One where you need reserve long before you are coming. But it's worth it!

Café de Klepel is a familiar restaurant (to a lot of local people) along the Prinsenstraat in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam (nearby our hotel and De Noordermarkt) and famous for its friendly and (very) good service, the low-key brown café like interior and their really tasty French cuisine and quality wines. The table d’hote changes every week (or daily) because they cook according to seasons and the Noordermarkt organic farm market nearby. They have a set menu which you can change if you have dietary requests.

This hotspot is a true hidden gem. We want you to know about it because it's such a nice play to experience. Just reserve yourself a table.. or a seat at the bar (just like we enjoyed it). You’ll love it!
